So I guess the last time I did a post was Aug. 26th? Where has the time gone? Yikes .. so much to blog!
I was shopping off base today and paid with Yen and said Arrigato (sp?) To the lady at the register. I walked out and thought to myself how lucky I am. How blessed I have been raised with a versatile personality. Some comes from experience, but alot comes from a stable home that I could cultivate a good self esteem in a safe envirement.
Some times .. when I stay on base all day, I forget I live in a foreign country. I forget that I know absolutly NO Japanese and how much I need to learn the phrases (excuse us, and sorry) .. seems like I say that all the time and I am sure the Japanese people are wondering why I am so rude.
Although most times things off base are more expensive, I have found a couple stores that have good deals. Carmen and I found some little girl clothes for 299 yen (little over 3 bucks). That made me so excited since the BX is trying to be trendy and has a scam going with only offering expensive name brands.
I have found my favorite hardware stores, and if I could find a good office supply store I would be in complete heaven (but that is just my addiction talking)
I love it here and my kids are having so much fun.
I hope to blog more, and let you all know the awesome stuff we are up to.

it was good to hear from you! It has been so long. Japan is treating you good, so that is nice to hear. My brother in law is moving there in December with his family.. It would be funny if you ran into them!
